The Handpresso is basically a miniature portable espresso machine,  with a hand pump which allows you to raise the pressure to 16 bars before you press the release button and the hot water is "pressed" through the coffee in the brewing dome.
It uses E.S.E. pods  to brew your caffeine hit, so although you do not use  freshly ground freshly roasted coffee beans, you will avoid the debris of grinds and dirty portafilters.
All standard E.S.E. pods are suitable and as these are widely available AND easily packed, you should not run out of caffeine in any situation.
