GREAT coffee at home and away : aeropress!


The Aeropress is a great little gadget for both espresso-style as well as drip-style coffee.
We use it often, both at home for a evening's Decaf, as well as travel-coffeemaker: no more motel "instant" coffee!!

Instead: Great coffee, freshly ground and brewed right there in your motel or hotel-room... it gives meaning to "home away from home".

You DO need a good grinder to get the best results but once you have well-ground
coffee, all you do is put a filter paper in the bottom of the Aeropress, screw the filter holder on the "pot", put coffee in the Aeropress, add hot water and stir.

After waiting about 5 minutes  you can either use the plunger to press the water through the coffee, or sit the Aeropress on a cup and patiently wait until the coffee has dripped directly in to your cup... Good Coffee at Home or Away!
The Aeropress is very light-weight, almost unbreakable,  
travels well and is easy to clean.

Together with a good hand-grinder like a quality Brass Turkish Coffee grinder, it makes excellent coffee in your hotel/motel accommodation.


The Aeropress/Turkish grinder is also an wonderful lightweight
coffee-
making combination when  you want to go camping.

 Make sure the cups you pack for your camp kitchen are of a good quality and have an inner cup made of high grade stainless steel.

Stainless steel is impervious to flavours or aromas, and that means that your real, freshly brewed coffee will taste of real, freshly brewed coffee. (and  if you later have soup from from the cup, your soup will taste like soup, not coffee!)
